SIMPLE TO MAKE YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION MORE SECURE

Every time you go online, your internet connection gets exposed to security threats from hackers. It becomes mandatory for you to load up as much ammunition as you need to safeguard yourself. To ensure your security on the World Wide Web, there are several firewalls available. Your Windows also offers one such firewall to secure your internet connection. 

• Click on Start, go to Connect to and select Show all Connections.
• In the Network Connections window, right-click on the connection, you want to secure and select Properties.
• To turn on the firewall, in the window, enable the Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet checkbox.
• Click on OK to save your settings and secure your new connection with the firewall.
• Your new internet connection icon will now indicate the presence of the firewall.

You can connect to the internet as usual, but rest assured your connection is more secure now.
